War and Publishing

In this episode of The Russians Evgenia and I chat with Felix Sandalov, editor-in-chief of Individuum, an indie Russian publisher. Individuum released the Russian version of my book Surveillance Valley back in 2019.

We had Felix on to talk about how the war in Ukraine is affecting the publishing world in Russia. We also discuss the new wave of Russian cultural emigration taking place right now and how it compares to the one that happened a century ago.
