Postcard from San Francisco #2
Conservative family gender roles are still very much in play in this great progressive civilization on the Bay.
So it’s been a few weeks since I’ve been back in San Francisco, getting reacquainted with the place where I grew up. And what did I learn today in the three hours I spent pushing a stroller in Golden Gate Park during this ridiculously nice late October weather? I was reminded to not take the wokeness that emanates out of American progressive bastions like San Francisco too seriously. All the other parents pushing strollers in the park today were women. I was the only man. It reminded me of being back in the center of Moscow. Moms out and about with their expensive strollers, taking care of the kids. Dads nowhere to be seen because they’re out there making money.
Conservative family gender roles are still very much in play in this great progressive civilization on the Bay, regardless of all the woke discourse we hear. It pairs well with this latest political development out Washington DC. Yea America will its get family leave at some point, but by then everyone will be infertile from all the pollution. Still, it’ll be a liberal victory!

On NPR they're glorifying poor women returning to work as women's rights (right to struggle)
